Tampa, FL
CSSI Releases the newest version of it's OSS software
with added features and improvements on the previous 8.4 release.
Circuit Vision 8.5 marks the improved support for broadband services
and develops existing technologies.
Circuit Vision 8.5 is another step in CSSI's
continuing effort to improve the software and make Circuit Vision
truly the best of breed software in the industry. Included in this
version are features that enhance the ability to manage broadband
services, such as DSL, ATM, Frame Relay and interworking technologies
such as Frame Relay over ATM. There are new features for documenting
the local loop, including terminal and binding post identifiers,
guage and length of loop segments and the ability to calculate loop
loss.
A new path trace that allows users to define the objects
that they want displayed on the trace. Also, the FLR/DLR is now
customizable by the user and produces separate pages for the equipment
options and order tracking information. The ability to further define
products and classify customers as to their importance is provided.
Circuit Vision now has features for tracking internal communications

is established for tracking this information. Individuals can be
assigned to these assets and cost centers can be identified for

be applied to groups as well as individuals.
Several of the subsystems have also been enhanced
in this release. For example, there is a new version of Framevision
that enables drilling down to the card level on the graphical display
and showing usage information. The network analysis subsystem can
export data to Excel. The ASR/ASOG subsystem has been added and
enhanced with a vendor reconciliation report. The autorouting subsystem
can now route over vendor supplied networks.
Circuit Vision will interface with the React 2000
